Two visiting Muslim missionaries paid a courtesy call on Chief Secretary Orville London at the Calder Hall Administrative Complex, Scarborough yesterday. (April 8 2014)

The two Maulana Ibrahim Bin Yaqub, Amir and Missionary-in-Charge from Ghana; and Maulana Daud Ahmed Hanif, Missionary-in-Charge of the New York Region in the USA spent 30 minutes with London discussing their missionary work in Trinidad and Tobago. They were accompanied by Idris Saqui, Financial Controller of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Trinidad and Tobago Chapter.

Maulana Yaqub told London that he had heard about his “good work and achievements in Tobago” and wanted to meet with him.

During the meeting they exchanged tokens. Maulana Yaqub presented six books to London on various topics including the Gulf War.
