Sunwing Airlines will be returning to Tobago this winter with weekly direct flights from Toronto, following the inaugural 2018/2019 season.
The flights resume from December 19, 2019 until April 16, 2020.
President of Tour Operations for Sunwing, Andrew Dawson, indicated that Tobago’s natural beauty attracts Canadian tourists. “We’re certain that the island’s lush landscapes, untouched beaches and tropical rainforests will continue to be a big draw for our customers this coming season,” Dawson said.
CEO of the Tobago Tourism Agency Limited (TTAL), Louis Lewis, stated that, “Partnership with the airline has contributed to increased arrivals from the Canadian market. This follows a very strong performance for the inaugural season in 2018/19 where our overall arrivals increased by 10%,” Lewis said.
In a Sunwing media release, the airline promoted Tobago’s excursion attractions including, “pristine beaches, snorkeling alongside exotic marine life and unique tropical landscapes.”
