National Youth Culture and the Arts Awards 2019

The development of the nation’s art and culture is a collective endeavour.

T&T’s youth have played a part and those who have excelled in their artistic pursuits will be celebrated when the Youth Government Trinidad and Tobago: Governor of Culture of Trinidad and Tobago presents the first annual National Youth Culture and the Arts Awards 2019.

Persons are being invited to nominate youth between the ages of 15-35 in one of the following categories: Music, Dance, Drama, Fashion and Visual Arts.

Awards will include Most Outstanding Steel Pan Soloist – Male and Female, Most Outstanding DJ, Most Dedicated Dancer, Most Outstanding Graphic Designer, and Emerging Model of the Year.

This inaugural event is in recognition of the contributions of calypso saxophonist Dr. Roy Cape.

Registration forms can be downloaded at: www.youthgovtt.org. The deadline for submission is September 20th.

The Awards Ceremony comes off on Friday, 11th October, 2019 at the Queen’s Hall in Port of Spain.
