The public is being advised of plans by the Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment (DIQE) to build a retaining wall and install perimeter fencing at the Pembroke Anglican School. Construction will begin on Friday 1st November, 2019.
The project will address land slippage along this segment of the Windward Main Road and safeguard the school body, drivers and pedestrians.
Excavation and concrete pouring activities are included in the scope; these and other works may result in some level of inconvenience as vehicular traffic will be restricted, but the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service will manage traffic throughout construction.
The project is expected to be completed within three months.
