The Tobago House of Assembly (THA) will launch its 2016 series of Community Outreach meetings tomorrow (Tuesday February 16) at the Moriah Community Centre in the electoral district of Providence/Mason Hall/Moriah from 6.30 p.m.
The meeting is being held to allow residents of the electoral district to share their views on various issues affecting those communities and to make recommendations for the development of Tobago.
Overall, there will be 13 meetings in Tobago’s 12 electoral districts, including two in the L’Anse Fourmi/Speyside/Charlotteville district. The series ends on August 4.
Assemblymen representing each electoral district will give an account of their stewardship since being elected. They will also unveil their plans for the rest of 2016, and will field questions from constituents.
The second meeting of the series will be held in Bacolet/Mt St George at the John Dial/Mt St George Community Centre on February 23. This third instalment is scheduled for March 1 at the Goodwood/Belle Garden Community Centre.
Chief Secretary Orville London said the meetings will give residents an opportunity to raise their concerns with their representatives.
