Traffic restrictions along Buccoo Bay Road began yesterday (July 9, 2018), and will continue until August 25.
The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has advised the public that this is necessary as the installation of sewer mains is being conducted in the area. This is part of the ongoing South West Tobago Wastewater Rehabilitation Project.
The restrictions will be in force daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
WASA is asking motorists to proceed with caution in the area of the work and obey the instructions of police officers on duty near the work site.
Commuters are also asked to use alternative routes where possible.
