The finals of the District Games will kick off on Sunday (August 19) at the Bon Accord Recreation Ground from 9 a.m.
Six teams will vie for titles in netball, cricket and football in the Under-15 and Under-19 Divisions.
The competition is being hosted by the Division of Sport and Youth Affairs. It is aimed at motivating children ages ten to 19 to participate in healthy physical activity, and to foster their physical literacy development. It’s also a great way to bring communities together and to encourage collaboration.
On Sunday there will also be a presentation ceremony for the games, which are co-sponsored by Nestle.
