Renowned storyteller Paul Keens-Douglas will visit the Scarborough Library at 10 a.m. on Friday (September 7) for a discussion on “Storytelling the Artform”.

Keens-Douglas, the Poet Laureate of Trinidad and Tobago, will be hosted by Tobago Library Services in celebration of International Literacy Day, which will be marked globally on Saturday (September 8). The event is free and open to the public.

He has been a leading exponent of the oral traditions over several decades. And Keens-Douglas is a self-published author, with nine volumes of work, 16 CDs, 17 LPs and two videos.
