The family of the Tobago fisherman Gordon Eastman, whose body was recovered from the ocean, a few days ago, is being assisted by the THA with supplies and funeral expenses.
The family was offered support in their time of grief by Secretary Godwin Adams, Division of Agriculture, Marine Affairs, Marketing and the Environment (DAMME) and Assistant Secretary, Hayden Spencer, as they visited the home of deceased fisherman. Eastman’s life on the seas spanned five decades.
The DAMME heads went to the boat house residence of the veteran fisherman on Bayside of Charlotteville where they met two of Eastman’s sons, Devon and Kimron, as well as other fishermen of the Charlotteville community, who were also visiting the family.
