The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Tobago House of Assembly and the National Commission for Self Help Limited took place today (January 11, 2019) at the Executive Conference Room,Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment (DIQE).
This MOU formalised a partnership between the two institutions to see the Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment providing engineering oversight and labour to recipients of the NCSHL’s Emergency Relief and Reconstruction Assistance Grant (ERRAG).
At present, a similar social intervention initiative facilitated by the Division is implemented by the Unemployment Relief Programme (URP).
