Butterfly Garden Project
Secretary of the Division of Community Development, Enterprise Development and Labour Marslyn Melville-Jack and Assistant Secretary Shomari Hector help students of Whim Anglican with their butterfly garden.

The Community-Based Environmental Protection and Enhancement Programme (CEPEP) unveiled two “Butterfly Gardens” on November 7th as part of the Division of Community Development, Enterprise Development and Labour’s Community Development Week.

The flower gardens were established at the Parlatuvier Multipurpose Facility and Whim Anglican School with the hope of increasing the butterfly population, while enhancing the aesthetics and providing a photography space.
