The Charlotteville Micro-Enterprise Centre was officially opened on Friday (December 18th, 2020), when the Business Development Unit (BDU) of the Division of Community Development, Enterprise Development and Labour handed over keys to the respective tenants.
There are currently twenty-three tenants, including New Foods Supermarket, Kreative Klosets, and Yadee’s Pastry Shop. The Centre was constructed at a cost of approximately $25 million.
Among those present at the Commissioning Ceremony were Chief Secretary, Hon. Ancil K. Dennis, Secretary of Community Development, Enterprise Development and Labour, Marslyn Melville-Jack, and Secretary of Health, Wellness and Family Development, Tracy Davidson-Celestine.
