Tobago will celebrate Community Week, beginning tomorrow (November 1), with activities geared at encouraging community engagement.
The activities will begin with a community walk, hosted by Division of Community Development Enterprise Development and Labour. On November 1, the walk will start at 8:30 a.m. at Tambrin Square, and proceed to the Scarborough Esplanade.
Other activities will include the Tobago Business Expo on Friday (November 2) at Gardenside Car Park, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
On November 5, there will be a thanksgiving service from 9 a.m. at the People’s Pentecostal Church at Smithfield, Scarborough, followed by the distribution of hampers at 1 p.m. On November 7, the M.A.C.H.O. Man celebration will kick off from 9 a.m. with a walk from Montgomery to Bethlehem Junction.
A Community Council Training programme will be hosted on November 8 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The day will end with an awards ceremony at 7 p.m. and activities will conclude with a sports and family day at the Buccoo Integrated Facility on November 9.
All activities are free and the public is invited to attend.
