The Cool Kids camp came to a close at the Lambeau Multipurpose Facility on Friday (August 3).
It was the second leg of the camp, which was also hosted in July for two weeks at the Glamorgan Community Centre.
Community Development Officer II Levi Wilson of the Division of Community Development, Enterprise Development and Labour declared the camp a success.
“Throughout the duration of the camp, these lovely children were engaged in several activities aimed at developing their creative abilities, stimulating their intellect and a number of fun filled field trips and excursions,” Wilson said.
The camp facilitated 150 children between the ages of five to 11 years.
“I feel very confident as I look around at the indicators of great potential and it gives me a sense of accomplishment, knowing that our children are doing well and they will continue to excel in all their endeavours,” he said.
