If you’re stepping up your decorating skills for the upcoming Christmas season, then a little extra help is on the way.
The Division of Community Development, Enterprise Development, and Labour will host its Handicraft Training: Drapery course beginning on November 7 at the Bethesda Multipurpose Facility. The sessions run three time per week: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 9 am to 12:30 p.m. each day. Participants can register at the first session.
Community Development Secretary Marsyln Melville-Jack said her Division will continue to encourage capacity building on the island. In 2019, the Division plans to roll out a number of new programmes, including entrepreneurship, to help graduates market their new skills.
“The Division is charged with the responsibility to be the axis of the vehicle through which the social and economic development of the people of Tobago evolve,” Melville-Jack said.
