Tobago is stepping up its adult literacy thrust.

On Friday (January 11), the Division of Community Development, Enterprise Development and Labour signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Tobago Institute of Literacy (TIL) at the Division’s Glen Road offices.

With the MOU, the Institute will work in tandem with the Community Development Division to help residents develop their literacy skills.

During the signing, TIL Executive Officer Susan Sandiford said new literacy programmes will soon be rolled out.
