Tobago will host the Caribbean Area Network for Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education (CANQATE) Conference and AGM at the Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort Hotel, beginning on Wednesday (November 14).

It’s the first time the Conference is being hosted in Tobago, through collaboration among Division of Education, Innovation and Energy, the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT) and the National Training Agency. It will feature participation from the Caribbean and South America.

CANQATE promotes regional capacity building and professional development among and institutions of higher education. It also facilitates regional discussions on policy and research in education quality assurance and quality enhancement.
