Scarborough RC Take Girls Title

Scarborough RC Primary Schools girls football team has earned praised for victory in the Atlantic National Primary School Final.

The Scarborough girls hammered San Fernando Methodist primary 4-0 at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Mucurapo, Trinidad on Wednesday (November 21).

The win means the Scarborough girls repeated as national champions. Chief Secretary Kelvin Charles, who is also Secretary of Education, Innovation and Energy is hailing the young athletes for their performances. He says they have left him thoroughly impressed.

“I must commend these talented young ladies, their coaches, parents and teachers,” Charles said. “There are so many components that go into achieving this level of success. However, I thank them all for not only bringing pride to their school and families but to all of Tobago. We must salute them.”

During the match, J’leisha Alexander scored three goals for Scarborough RC, while Kaleah Duke contributed the other.
