The Tobago Agribusiness Development Company (TADCO) is pleased report that negotiations were successfully completed for the revision of rental rates at our facilities. This follows the resistance from tenants over the increased rental rates at TADCO’s dry and cold storage facilities. In response, Management took steps in order to arrive at a consensus for new rates with our stakeholders.
On Tuesday 24th and Thursday 26th May, 2022, Management met with tenants and underwent negotiations at TADCO’s Headquarters. The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Directors of Corporate Services and Operational Management, the C.E.O and Facilities Manager comprised the Management team at negotiation sessions.
The new rates are as follows:
Cold Storage (per bin)
Daily rate: $15 + VAT ($1.25) – $16.87
Monthly: $300 + VAT (1.25) – 337.50
Dry Storage (per square foot)
$6 -effective July 2022
$8 – effective July 2023
$10- effective July 2024
