Residents of Roxborough and environs attended the first community sensitisation meeting on the Roxborough Hospital project at the Roxborough Health Centre on Monday (July 9).

The meeting was the first of two meetings being held by the Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development, in collaboration with the Tobago Regional Health Authority.

Members of the public had the opportunity to hear the proposal for the new facility and provide their feedback.

Several issues were raised by attendees. They believe the new hospital and health centre should be on the same compound. They also asked about the procurement process for new equipment for the facility, and stressed the need for reliable ambulance services in Roxborough.
