The Enrolled Nursing Assistant (ENA) training programme will begin on 1st October, 2019 with the first cohort of 25 students. The second and third cohorts of 25 persons each will commence in April and August 2020, respectively.
Secretary of Health, Wellness and Family Development Councillor Dr. Agatha Carrington said, “The total number of students to be trained will be 75. Persons have been shortlisted, interviews scheduled to choose the first cohort and the final list will be determined after this process.”
Persons who experienced technical or other issues with their applications will be given an assessment opportunity at a later date.
Training advocates to meet the healthcare needs of Tobago’s population remains a priority for the Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development.
