The Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Trinbago Progressive Association of the USA Incorporated on March 29, 2019 at the Division’s head office, in Scarborough.

The MOU formalizes the continued partnership between the Division, Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA) and the Association, which allows for each party’s resources to be optimized in the execution of the Association’s voluntary medical work on the Island.

The Trinbago Progressive Association of the U.S.A, Inc. was founded by the late Dr. George Oliver Phillips and is incorporated in the State of New York. The Association has sponsored teams who have been on ten medical missions to Trinidad and Tobago to conduct health fairs and other health-related activities.
