Outpatient services are expected to begin soon at the Stroke and Diabetes Centre.

Secretary of Health, Wellness and Family Development Dr. Agatha Carrington said there will be longer opening hours to better serve patients.

“We may perhaps extend it to Saturdays,” Dr. Carrington said, “such that persons who are not able to bring their loved ones to service during the week, can do so on a Saturday, so those are two services that we want you to look forward to.”

The Division is also improving women’s health services, which will be available at the Old Scarborough Hospital at Fort Street in Scarborough.
