Trinidad and Tobago is participating in a regional Global Environment Facility (GEF) funded project entitled, “Development and Implementation of a Sustainable Management Mechanism for Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in the Caribbean.”
In support of this initiative, the Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment is inviting persons to participate in a survey regarding the usage and disposal of household chemicals and products.
The aim of the project is to build the national capacity to protect human health and the environment from toxic POP chemicals.
