Keeping schools safe
The retaining wall being built at the Pembroke Anglican School.

Students attending the Pembroke Anglican School will enjoy a safer and freer space to play as at least 6 ft. of additional space was created with the construction of a 180 ft. retaining wall and installation of perimeter fencing at the school.

The Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment, via a media release, stated that the additional space will make traversing that stretch of the Windward road easier. The project is being done by DIQE’s Development Team and completion is expected by January 31st, 2020.
