The Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment (DIQE), in collaboration with the Surgical Ward Amputee Action Group (SWAAG), will host its 2nd Annual Health Fair – ‘Know Yuh Numbers’ – on November 12th at the Division’s Lecture Room in Shaw Park.
The event starts from 8:30 a.m. and will provide staff of the Scarborough District, including maintenance workers, development workers and checkers, with health-related information and include practical demonstrations on a range of issues.
Topics to be addressed include diabetes, prostate cancer and care, hypertension, cholesterol and cancer prevention. Screening tests for lifestyle diseases will also be conducted.
