On Sunday (September 22, 2019), Tobago’s archers will shoot for success.
The Tobago Precision Archery Club will host its third annual tournament at the Tobago Archery Field, Bacolet from 9:00 a.m.
This event gives the island’s archers a chance to develop and prepare for international competitions later this year and early next year, and also serves as a fundraiser to assist them in travelling to these events.
Participants will be grouped into age-based categories and two archery divisions will be featured: Compound and Recursive. Seven clubs based in Trinidad will compete against local teams, including schools.
“We’ll have students from Bishop’s, Scarborough Secondary, Goodwood Secondary, St. Andrews and Scarborough Methodist, representing their schools,” said the Club’s President, Patrick Welch.
This event is endorsed by the Division of Sport and Youth Affairs and the public is encouraged to attend and support Tobago’s sporting talent of all ages. For more information, contact: 612-3792; Ext. 1041.
