CARIFESTA XIV, which celebrates the region’s dynamic cultural offerings, will be hosted in Trinidad and Tobago from August 16th – 25th. Tobago will mark the event from August 19th-21st.
The island will host traditional events demonstrating cultural experiences that are intrinsic to Tobago. Throughout CARIFESTA XIV, persons can visit the Tobago Grand Market at the Scarborough Esplanade from 10:00 a.m. and enjoy a daily midday show.
There will also be three nightly shows starting at 7:00 p.m. On Monday (August 19), Haiti and St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be represented at the Pembroke Heritage Park, on Tuesday (August 20) Belize and Antigua and Barbuda are centre stage at the Castara Bonfire and on Wednesday (August 21) St. Lucia and Dominica will be showcased at the Shaw Park Complex.
