Chief Secretary Kelvin Charles expresses condolences to His Excellency Orville London, High Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, on the passing of his mother Mrs. Doris London, who departed this life today (March 05, 2018).

“I would like to extend sympathy to my predecessor His Excellency Orville London and his family on behalf of myself, my family and the rest of Tobago at this time.  Having lost my own mother at the tender age of six, I can empathize with Mr. London because there is something about a mother’s love that one never forgets and once gone, can never be replaced,” said Mr. Charles.

The Office of the Chief Secretary and by extension the Tobago House of Assembly, encourages all of Tobago to keep His Excellency Orville London and the rest of the London family in their prayers and where possible, offer assistance and encouragement during their time of grief.
