It is with much sadness that the Tobago House of Assembly acknowledges the passing of former THA Secretary of Finance and Enterprise Development, Dr. Anselm London.  Chief Secretary Kelvin Charles says he is saddened by the passing of Dr. London and expresses condolences to his family and close friends on his passing.

According to the Chief Secretary, “Dr. London was one of the sharpest financial minds to have served the Tobago House of Assembly in this current formation.  Dr. London was not only a bright mind but he was also passionate about Tobago and the progress of the people of Tobago and therefore he worked diligently as Secretary of Finance, to improve the economy of Tobago”.

Mr. Charles notes that Dr. London’s experience and impact go far beyond the shores of Tobago and as such, not only has Tobago lost a son of the soil but the world has lost a great contributor to the Finance and Economy sector.

Chief Secretary Kelvin Charles calls on the people of Tobago to unselfishly support the family of Dr. London at this time and offers his prayers and sympathy to the family of Dr. London, on behalf of the Executive Council, the entire Tobago House of Assembly and the people of Tobago.
