A delegation from the Trinidad and Tobago-based organisation Scarlet 41 and Bermudan MP and Government Whip Lawrence Scott paid a courtesy call on Chief Secretary Hon. Kelvin Charles on August 13, 2019 at the Division of Education, Innovation, and Energy, Dutch Fort.

Scarlet 41 aims to transform the lives of young people by exposing them to diverse opportunities through partnerships with institutions, brands and companies. The group had been in talks to collaborate with the youth-centric ‘Future Leaders Bermuda’, a programme fully supported by Bermuda’s Cabinet.

The government of Bermuda was invited by Scarlet 41 to participate in its planned activities to engage the government of Trinidad and Tobago in exploring opportunities for collaboration on matters of youth engagement, culture, and business networking. Mr. Scott was among the Bermudian representatives at the courtesy call, as Bermuda’s government seeks to explore regional opportunities for regional collaboration on youth initiatives.
