The Tobago International Cycling Classic 2018 will pedal off next Tuesday (October 2).
Local and international racers will convene at the Cycling Village Compound in Crown Point before the first official race at the Shirvan/Carnbee Circuit Race. The Classic has seen many transformations including the shift from a primarily local one-day race to a five-stage international event.
The event will include a 5 stage International Cycling race, 2 Stage Novice race, and the main event, the Tour of Tobago. The six-day Cycle Classic will end on October 7.
Last year, Dutch rider Peter Schulting won the coveted Tour of Tobago with a commanding performance. The Tobago House of Assembly is a sponsor of the Classic.
