Hotel staff at the Starfish Tobago Resort, formally Rex Turtle Beach Hotel, are learning to make themselves a “hard target”.

As part of the “Making Tobago A Hard Target” mobile campaign ongoing across the island, hotel staff were given basic First Aid training by the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) last week.

They also learned about actions to take before, during and after disasters to protect themselves and their family against potential hazards.

The Campaign team is a collaborative effort among the Tobago Emergency Management Agency (TEMA), the County Medical Office of Health (CMOH), and the Public Health Department.
