Chief Secretary Orville London has indicated that the second meeting among leaders of political parties in Tobago to discuss a review of the THA Act No. 40 of 1996 scheduled for today (Thursday 20th February 2014) has had to be rescheduled again.
London explained that the leader of the Tobago Organisation of the People (TOP) Ashworth Jack had indicated that he had an important engagement and would not be available.
He said in a telephone conversation with Jack on Wednesday the TOP leader indicated that by tomorrow (Friday 21st February 2014) for the latest he would be able to confirm his availability for a new date.
Both Chairman of the Tobago Council of the PNM Neil Wilson and leader of the Tobago Platform of Truth (TPT) Hochoy Charles has given their assurance of their availability on any date.
