Tobagonians are invited to nominate persons or organisations for this year’s National Awards. The nominee must have given distinguished service in any area of activity.

Nomination forms are available at the Office of the THA Chief Administrator, Administrative Complex, Calder Hall, Scarborough.

All particulars requested in the form should be supplied in respect of each person or organisation nominated, including brief details of his/her activities in the sphere in which the award is recommended. The sphere in which the award is recommended should not be confused with the type of award, that is, the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Chaconia Medal, Humming Bird Medal and Medal of Merit. “Sphere” denotes the area in which the nominee has made outstanding contribution.

Completed nomination forms should be submitted to the Secretary, National Awards Committee, Office of the Prime Minister, 13-15 St Clair Avenue, Port of Spain or Private Bag 466, Port of Spain.

National Awards are presented by the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on Independence Day August 31 of each year.
