Representatives of Sandals and Beaches Hotels, including Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Adam Stewart, will make a presentation to various stakeholders on the concept for the development of a Sandals resort at the Buccoo/Golden Grove Estate. The presentation will take place at the Coco Reef Resort and Spa on Monday (September 19, 2016) at 10.00 a.m.
A round table discussion will follow the presentation and among the officials involved will be Chief Secretary Orville London; Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Stuart Young; Secretary of Tourism and Transportation Tracy Davidson-Celestine; Secretary of Finance and Enterprise Development, Joel Jack; Secretary of Agriculture, Marine Affairs, Marketing & the Environment, Godwin Adams; Secretary of Settlements and Labour, Deon Isaac; Director Natural Resources and the Environment, Linford Beckles; Area Representative Buccoo/Mt. Pleasant, Ancil Dennis; and Area Representative Canaan/Bon Accord, Huey Cadette.
A wide cross section of Tobago Stakeholders has also been invited and will participate in the discussion. They include the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Commerce, Tobago Division; the Tobago Hotel and Tourism Association; Tobago Agricultural Society; Bon Accord Community Council; Buccoo Community Council; Environment Tobago; Crown Point Community Partnership Association and other industry stakeholders.
