Tobagonians are being asked to support relief efforts to assist Bahamians affected by Hurricane Dorian.
The Tobago Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) is collecting relief supplies until Sunday, 22nd September, 2019, to be shipped to the Bahamas to aid in the recovery efforts.
Persons can donate non-perishable food items and water, personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies, first aid and emergency kits, cots, tools, and other emergency equipment. Items of clothing are not required at this time.
Supplies can be dropped off at the TEMA Emergency Operations Centre at Fairfield Complex, Bacolet Street, Scarborough from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Sunday; and at TEMA’s Signal Hill Warehouse (next to the Army Camp) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays only.
