The natural and historical heritage of Tobago makes the island a perfect destination for weddings.
The island is seeking to capitalise on its assets to position Tobago as a premier romance destination. Romance is one of the four brand pillars of the new “Tobago Beyond” branding strategy.
This is why Tobago Tourism Agency (TTAL) attended the April 13-14 National Wedding Show in the United Kingdom, and the L. Edwin Caribbean Wedding Events Expo in Trinidad (March 30-31). The Agency captured key data and feedback on visitor needs in the romance and wedding market.
TTAL also hosted the “Love in Tobago” interactive wedding show in partnership with local businesses.
And TTAL is set to host a unique educational and promotional event in Tobago for local sellers to take advantage of prospects in the Canadian wedding market.
