The Division of Education, Innovation and Energy (DEIE) expresses regret at the turn of events at Whim Anglican Primary School today (March 06, 2018), which resulted in teachers leaving the premises before the school’s scheduled dismissal, due to needed repairs to a breach in the school’s fence.
Chief Secretary and Secretary of Education, Innovation and Energy Kelvin Charles, indicates that he met with the principal of Whim Anglican Primary School and Administrator of the Division Jacqueline Job today (March 06) at the Division’s offices at Dutch Fort, to discuss the way forward for operations at the school
The Division of Education, Innovation and Energy confirms that with regard to an incident that took place on the premises of Whim Anglican Primary School on Friday 02nd March, 2018, which involved the parent of a student, the Division received the report on Monday 05th March, 2018.
The Division pledges its commitment to continued collaboration with Whim Anglican Primary School and the school’s board of management for timely resolution and reassures the people of Tobago that safety and security within our schools continue to be high priority.
