The Department of Labour in the Division of Settlements and Labour staged a successful all-day seminar with the theme “Inspiring Change” last Friday (28th March 2014) as part of the THA’s observances of this year’s International Women’s Day.

The seminar held at the Mount Irvine Bay Hotel was attended by young women in secondary schools across Tobago, as well as selected women from local organisations and the THA Divisions.

Among the speakers were Rev. Onika Samuel who spoke on “Shaping the future”, Tricia Sobers who spoke on “Getting the right balance” and Desiree Hackett-Murray on “Maximising your resources”.
