THA Chief Secretary Orville London has raised strong objection to what he described as disingenuous and disrespectful action by the Ministry of the People and Social Development which announced that he was expected to participate in the distribution of food cards and baby grants at the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort on Wednesday. London said he did not receive an invitation to the event and gave no indication to any official of the Ministry that he would be attending.

He also described the action of the Ministry as provocative and requested an apology for this deliberate effort to mislead the people of Tobago.
