Traffic Restrictions for THA Inauguration

The Office of the Chief Secretary wishes to advise the general public of traffic restrictions that will be in place at Uptown Scarborough on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th, December to facilitate the Inauguration Ceremony of the Tobago House of Assembly.

The ceremony will take place at Assembly Legislature, Jerningham Street, Uptown Scarborough, Tobago.

On Thursday 9th and Friday 10th, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., the following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic:
Jerningham Street
Ross Street
Piggott Street, from Burnette St junction to Bacolet Connector Road, and Bacolet Connector Road, from Piggott Street junction to the Bacolet traffic lights

Parking is prohibited along:
Jerningham Street
Ross Street
Burnette Street
Piggott Street, from Burnette St junction to Bacolet Connector Road Bacolet Connector Road, from Piggott St junction to the Main Street and Bacolet Street intersection, and
Main Street, from the Bacolet Street junction to the Main Street and Burnette Street intersection

Parking is also prohibited at Republic Bank Car Park, and Tambrin Square/ Old Market Car Park, which will be closed to the public from 6 p.m. on Wednesday December 8th to 3 p.m. on Friday December 10th.
