The Division of Tourism, Culture and Transportation announced via media release the appointment of George Leacock as Festivals Director of the Tobago Festivals Commission Limited.

Leacock will be responsible for the logistical planning, organising and execution of Tobago’s festivals inclusive of the Tobago Jazz Experience, Tobago Heritage Festival, Tobago Carnival and Tobago Blue Food Festival.

Leacock is the former Executive Chairman of the Board. He will report to the newly installed Board of Directors which has responsibility for strategic oversight and management of the Tobago Festivals Commission Limited. The Board of Directors is led by Chairman Dr. Suzanne Burke.
