Tobago will celebrate 32 years of the Tobago Miss Heritage Personality competition this year.

The 2019 winner will walk away with a tertiary education scholarship worth $25,000, courtesy First Citizens. An additional $10,000 in prizes is also up for grabs.

The longstanding competition helps create a platform for young women from communities and community groups across Tobago. Participants are required to research and showcase the diversity of the island’s creativity and rich cultural background.

Held annually in July, participants engage in a number of developmental activities, including public speaking, etiquette training, and financial literacy, leading up to the main event. The deadline for entry is June 7.
