The Division of Tourism, Culture and Transportation recently hosted a graduation ceremony (December 7) to recognize and celebrate the achievements of 102 Tobagonians who successfully completed the Spanish and Cuatro Programme.

The event was jointly hosted by Instituto Venezolano para la Cultura y La Cooperacion “Andres Bello” (the Venezuela Institute for Culture and Cooperation, Andres Bello) and the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

In 2017, the cultural partnership forged between the Department of Culture and the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Trinidad and Tobago resulted in 26 Tobagonians graduating from a collaborative music and language development training programme.

Phase one of the programme was launched in November 2016.  The courses are certified through the Institute.
