The Tobago Performing Arts Company (TPAC) hosted its first major production, ‘Bitter Cassava’, over the weekend (April 15th-April 17th) at the Colibri Ballroom, Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort, Lowlands.

‘Bitter Cassava’ features some of Tobago’s top creative talent and is a dramatic production that includes traditions of T&Ts folk theatre, music and dance. The play, written by Dr Lester Efebo Wilkinson, centres around the life of Samuel William Blondell, also called Sam, his common-law wife, Justina, and new love interest, Betty-Lou.
