Youth Share Tobago Culture

The Roxborough Police Youth Club is on a Culture Tour in the U.S.  A contingent of forty members led by Superintendent Collis Hazel left on Sunday (August 11th) for the 21-day tour. The group was invited by the West Indian America Carnival Association and the Omalay Dance Theater to perform at several events.

Youth exchange visits and lifelong learning opportunities are part of the Roxborough Police Youth Club’s agenda. The group has been given this opportunity to share the Tobago tourism brand on an international stage with the help of several supporters including the Division of Tourism, Culture and Transportation, the Sports and Culture Fund, and the Office of the Prime Minister.

The group will participate in several events including the T&T Embassy Independence Day celebrations, Guyana Folk Festival, and the launch of the New York Carnival.
